Discovery Education and Alcoa Foundation are back to celebrate Manufacturing Day with a LIVE Virtual Field Trip on October 2 from Alcoa Power and Propulsion in Whitehall, Michigan. Students will be transported inside one of the most sophisticated manufacturing facilities in the world to learn about key components that keep our planes in the air, and keep us safe when we fly.

Join us as we:
  • Tour the research center to see state-of-the-art technologies such as 3D printing and process modeling in action
  • Get an exclusive look at over four football fields of manufacturing space
  • Observe incredibly high-tech robotics and meet the engineers that utilize them in their STEM-based careers
The Manufacture Your Future LIVE Virtual Field Trip will introduce students to the dynamic, innovative world of advanced manufacturing careers in an engaging and interactive format. Mike Pepper, President of Alcoa Power and Propulsion, will be with us to answer questions submitted by students.

Submit your questions to be answered during the LIVE event.
