Google Calendar - Subscribe to an Organizational Resource

If you work in a GAFE school district and your district maintains some Resources within Google Calendar, you can subscribe to any of those resources to see their availability on your own calendar.  View your Google Calendar Clicking on the down arrow to the right of Other calendars Select “Browse Interesting Calendars” (because what is more interesting than your organizational resources??) Select the More tab Click on Resources for calhounisd.org Click Subscribe next to any resource you want to see on your own calendar

Google Calendar - Booking Organizational Resources

If you are in a GAFE school district, your district may have resources available for reservation using your everyday Google Calendar!  This might be used for: shared computer labs common areas (i.e. media center, cafeteria, gymnasium) resources (i.e. device carts, equipment) Any resources will show up on the right hand side of an event in the same area where you add Guests to the event.  It will say Rooms, etc:   Available resources will be listed:   If a resource is already checked out for the time frame you have designated, it will not display in the list.  Once you add it to your event, others will not be able to check it out for the time you have designated. 

Google Calendar - Setting Calendar Default Notifications

Instead of having to turn on, change or turn off notifications on each of your events, you can set your own default notification system to receive either pop-ups or emails at designated times for events on a particular calendar.  (Or opt not to receive any at all!) Click on the arrow to the right of the calendar, and select Edit notifications The notifications settings give you several options.  The first one is for normal events that have set times.  The second is for events marked “all day.” For each of these you can add the type of notification you want by clicking Add a notification Once you add a notification, you can decide the type(s) of notifications you would like - email or the pop-ups - and set the time prior to event to receive it You can also add more than one notification if desired Below this, there are several items related to events you are invited to.  What most people find more useful is the Daily agenda option buried at the botto...
