 If you have Google Classroom on your mobile phone,  there is a new feature that will randomly select students for you and allow you to track who you have selected (and not selected). To use this feature, start by clicking on "People" at the bottom of your classroom -  Click on the icon in the upper right corner -  You will get a welcome screen, click on START to start using it -  It will randomly select a student.  You can choose from the following options: CALL LATER - will put them back in the "pool" to draw from  ABSENT - will move them to the absent list so they are not called again NEXT - will move them to the PICKED list  At any time, you can see the number of students you have not selected, selected or marked as absent - Clicking on any of those options will provide an actual list of students that are in each group -  At any time you can reset with the Reset button at the upper right corner -  If you select all the students, you ...

You should now have the ability to select exactly what you want to print, when printing from Google Sheets.  In addition to being able to print the "current sheet" or entire "workbook" (all sheets), you can now just print "selected cells." When on your sheet, highlight the cells you want to print.  Select to print it using the File Menu, print icon or control+P.  In the Print preview menu that appears to the right, click on the dropdown under Print - Pick option "Selected cells" from the choices - The print preview pane will change from displaying the entire current sheet to only displaying the selected cells you want to print so you can proof it to ensure you have the right information -

Google just made a BIG jump in personalizing work for students in Classroom!  You can now assign a Question, Assignment or Announcement to as many or as few of your students as you want.  The first time you login and this feature is available to you, you will see the following message: When you create a new item, you will now see a dropdown that says All students - The first item is All Students.  This gives a quick way to either select OR deselect all your students - So, you can either uncheck the students you do not want to get the item, OR you can deselect all students and then check the students you want to get the item - Once you have the correct students with checks by their names, the dropdown will change to show how many students are going to get the item - That's it!  It works for all the items you can add in Classroom, too.
